Invite Participants to Dialogue
Because one goal of 20,000 Dialogues is to encourage interaction between Muslims and non-Muslims, it’s a good idea to include a Muslim in your dialogue group. If you don’t personally know a Muslim you can invite to join the dialogue, here are several strategies for reaching out:
- Use the 20,000 Dialogues sign-up board
- Link your event to our Facebook group for 20,000 Dialogues. Once you sign up to join the group, contact Daniel@20000dialogues.org to be made an admin and you will then be able to create your own dialogue event and invite members from the group to attend.
- Go to our Meetup group and make an event associated with the group and invite other fans.
- Contact a local chapter of one of these organizations and ask for their help
- Do an internet search for “interfaith” and “name of your city” or “mosque,” “Masjid,” or “Islamic Center” and “name of your city” to find Muslim contacts in your community. Make sure you ask to speak to someone involved in interfaith efforts.
